Rochelle Ward

Graduate Intern

My name is Rochelle Ward and I am currently working through my graduate program internship at Abilene Christian University. Once I complete my graduate degree, I want to become a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who works to help others change how they approach their problems.

My life experience comes from working in the United States Navy for eight years as an Aviation Machinist Mate (jet engine mechanic). Military life is really different from other lifestyles, and it takes a special type of person to understand the gruff exterior of those from the military present. This is the experience and understanding that I provide my clients. I will always be honest and am quick to make you laugh, even if I have made you cry.

I work with diverse clients and their family systems through individual, couple, and family work. My goal with therapy is to bring clarity and understanding by guiding the clients with their goals, treatment plans, and thoughtful work toward change that is lasting.
